Two years ago we started a series of strips chronicling the entire Ten Commandments from the Bible. It’s actually much harder to make jokes about the Ten Commandments than you might think. We valued being respectful (we’re both Christian), but we knew there were humorous tweaks to be made. First Commandment – Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Second Commandment – Thou shalt not make graven images.
Third Commandment – Thou shalt not take the lord’s name in vain.
Fourth Commandment – Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Fifth Commandment – Honor thy father and thy mother.
Sixth Commandment – Thou shalt not kill.
Seventh Commandment – Thou shalt not commit adultery.
Eigth Commandment – Thou shalt not steal.
Ninth Commandment – Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
Tenth Commandment – Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s possessions.
